2. About the Emotion Board
The Twomatoes Emotion Board is a visual communication tool for couples. It allows one person to use magnetic markers to show how they feel and what kind of response they would like.
Each standard product set includes:
- One Emotion Board.
- One red magnetic marker.
- One blue magnetic marker.
- One 40-page digital guidebook.
Product photographs are provided to represent the product as accurately as possible. Colors and appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, and normal manufacturing tolerances.
The Emotion Board is not a medical, psychological, therapeutic, or diagnostic product. It is not intended to replace professional advice, counseling, or treatment.
3. Using the product
The board is designed to attach to clean, smooth surfaces using its repositionable nano-tack backing.
Before attaching it, customers should ensure that the chosen surface is clean, dry, smooth, and suitable for adhesive products. Textured, dusty, porous, damaged, freshly painted, or delicate surfaces may not provide reliable adhesion.
The board should be:
- Stored flat.
- Kept away from excessive heat and moisture.
- Protected from folding, rolling, bending, or crushing.
- Used only as described in the accompanying instructions.
Twomatoes is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable surfaces, improper storage, modification, or use contrary to the supplied instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
4. Orders
Products displayed on the website are invitations to place an order and do not constitute a binding offer.
After placing an order, you will receive an automated confirmation that we have received it. A binding purchase contract is formed when we accept the order and begin preparing it for dispatch.
We may refuse or cancel an order when:
- The product is unavailable.
- Payment cannot be authorized.
- The delivery information is incomplete or incorrect.
- We cannot deliver to the specified destination.
- The displayed price contains an obvious error.
- We reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activity.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been collected, the amount paid will be refunded using the original payment method.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are shown in the currency selected for your market.
Any applicable taxes included in the displayed price will be shown according to the customer's location and Shopify market settings. Delivery charges, when applicable, are shown before the order is completed.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the customer may be responsible for import duties, taxes, customs charges, or handling fees imposed by the destination country.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout. Payment must be completed before an order can be dispatched.
6. Delivery
Orders are normally prepared within 1–2 business days.
Delivery within Europe usually takes approximately 4–5 business days after dispatch, although these estimates are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of courier disruption, customs processing, weather, public holidays, incorrect delivery information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We currently deliver across Europe, excluding Russia and Belarus.
Depending on the destination, orders may be delivered by DHL, FedEx, UPS, DPD, or another suitable courier. Tracking information will be sent by email after dispatch where tracking is available.
Full delivery information is available on our Delivery page.
7. Returns and withdrawal
We offer a voluntary 30-day return period, beginning on the day the order is delivered.
To qualify under this voluntary return policy, the Emotion Board must be:
- Completely unused and undamaged.
- Returned with the protective backing sheet fully intact.
- Never attached to any surface.
- Complete with both magnetic markers.
- Returned in its original packaging.
You may remove the board from its packaging to inspect its appearance. However, removing the protective sheet or attaching the board to a surface counts as use because the product cannot then be restored to its original resale condition.
Customers returning an order because they changed their mind are responsible for return shipping costs.
These voluntary return conditions do not restrict any mandatory withdrawal or consumer rights provided by applicable law. EU customers generally have a statutory 14-day withdrawal period for distance purchases, although they may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.
To start a return, contact support@twomatoes.com before sending the product back. Full conditions and instructions are available in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
8. Refunds
Returned products will be inspected after receipt.
When a return is approved, the refund will normally be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Additional processing time may be required by the customer's bank or payment provider.
Where required by applicable consumer law, standard outbound delivery costs will also be refunded. Additional charges paid for express or upgraded delivery are not refundable beyond the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered.
9. Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders
Contact support@twomatoes.com as soon as possible if an order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what was ordered.
Please include:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs where appropriate.
We will review the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Consumers in the EU have mandatory legal rights when goods are faulty, do not work as advertised, or do not match their description. These rights are separate from the voluntary return policy.
10. Digital guidebook
The digital guidebook is included with the Emotion Board for personal use.
The customer receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the guidebook for personal and household purposes.
You may not:
- Sell, sublicense, or commercially distribute the guidebook.
- Upload it publicly.
- Share copies outside your household.
- Reproduce or adapt substantial parts for commercial use.
- Remove copyright, branding, or ownership notices.
All intellectual property rights in the guidebook remain with Twomatoes or the relevant rights holder.
Where the guidebook is delivered electronically, the customer is responsible for providing a valid email address and maintaining compatible equipment and software.
11. Intellectual property
The Twomatoes name, branding, Emotion Board design, illustrations, website content, photographs, written materials, guidebook, and other original materials are protected by intellectual property laws.
No part of the website or product materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, republished, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Purchasing the product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.
12. Website use
You must not use the website:
- For unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- To interfere with the website’s operation or security
- To introduce malicious software or harmful code
- To collect information about other users without authorization
- To copy or exploit website content commercially
- To place orders using false or unauthorized payment information
We may restrict access or cancel orders where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Twomatoes is not responsible for:
- Damage caused by incorrect use or storage.
- Damage resulting from attachment to an unsuitable surface.
- Indirect or unforeseeable losses.
- Business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
- Delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Any limitations in these terms apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, transport disruption, strikes, government action, customs delays, telecommunications failures, or interruption of essential services.
We will take reasonable steps to minimize the effect of such circumstances and fulfil affected orders as soon as reasonably possible.
15. Complaints
Questions or complaints should first be sent to:
support@twomatoes.com
Please include your name, order number, and a clear description of the issue.
We will review consumer complaints free of charge and provide a reasoned written response within the period required by applicable law. In Lithuania, businesses must generally respond to a consumer’s written request within 14 days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, an eligible consumer may contact the Lithuanian State Consumer Rights Protection Authority:
State Consumer Rights Protection Authority
A. Goštauto str. 12
LT-01108 Vilnius
Lithuania
16. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions and purchase contracts concluded through the store are governed by Lithuanian law.
This choice of law does not deprive consumers living in another country of any mandatory protections granted by the laws applicable in their country of residence.
Disputes may be submitted to the competent courts or consumer dispute-resolution authority as permitted by applicable law.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our products, services, business practices, or legal obligations change.
The version that applies to a purchase is the version in effect when the order is placed. Changes will not retrospectively alter an already concluded purchase contract unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
18. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
