OUR STORY

A simple idea for making feelings easier to share

Twomatoes began with a familiar relationship moment: one person wanted to feel understood, while the other wanted to respond well but did not always know what was needed.

FROM OUR TEAM

A small hello from Twomatoes

Twomatoes is a small team brought together by a shared belief that emotional communication can feel clearer and more natural. Thank you for taking the time to discover our story and the idea behind the Emotion Board.

With care,

HOW IT STARTED

From difficult moments to a clearer way to communicate

THE CHALLENGE

When words are difficult to find

In many relationships, the challenge is not a lack of care. One partner may know that something feels wrong but struggle to explain it, while the other wants to help without knowing what kind of response would actually feel supportive.

THE IDEA

Making feelings and needs visible

The idea was to bring two parts of communication together in one simple visual tool: how someone feels and what they would like their partner to do. That made it possible to replace guessing with a clearer request.

THE EMOTION BOARD

Designed for everyday connection

The concept became a physical board designed to stay visible at home, giving one partner a simple way to show how they feel and what kind of response they would like. Clear enough for everyday use, it helps the other partner understand and respond more confidently.

WHY WE CREATED IT

Feeling heard changes the conversation

Clearer needs make support easier

Understanding brings couples closer

Relationships include many different moments: closeness, frustration, uncertainty, affection, silence, and everything in between. The Emotion Board was created to make those moments easier to navigate by giving one partner a clear way to express what they feel and what they need.
